Pictorial Tribute to "The Lovely Marianne"

Over the years, we Wallies have had quite a few gatherings, with many pictures taken, and TLM has been part of every one that I'm aware of. I am sure that if it weren't for her, these Wetstock and other events probably would not have happened.

Having gotten @Erin Holohan Haskell 's blessing, here are some pics featuring The Lovely Marianne. Feel free to contribute if you have any. I'll credit any ones that aren't mine:

Wetstock 2004:

This was held near Baltimore in April of that year. We all met that Thursday evening for dinner at the hotel. Here we see @DanHolohan , TLM, @Tim McElwain and his wife- R.I.P, Judy:

The event included a bus trip to the Burnham factory in Lancaster, PA. Here we see some of the group waiting to get on the bus: @DanHolohan , @Ron Jr._3 , whose boiler-in-a-cramped-space installs are still unrivaled, The Lovely Marianne, The Lovely Nadine ( @Paullessard 's wife) and The Lovely Naoko, who at that time had been Lady Steamhead for all of two weeks. Yes, we followed Dan's example when referring to our wives:

With Dan in the seminar:

At "Good-n-Plenty", feeding our faces (from "eleft"):

At the main event, getting ready for the raffle (from Erin H. H.)

The happy couple (from the late great Ken Secor- @ScottSecor 's dad)

BTW, Scott- seems I have quite a few pics of your Dad, as well as some that he took- if you want, I can send them to you.

This one includes Erin, with her parents (from Ken):

That's all for now.

Erin, around here, it would be customary for a wedding picture, of Dan and Marianne, to show up at a time like this.

    But wait, there's more!

From "The Last Dead Men's Steam School", when Dan retired. TLM working the table, as always:

I went to several seminars. The one that sticks in my head was at a Holiday Inn. It was either Holyoke or Springfield, MA. I remember Dan was in crew cut mode and he and TLM were unloading books from the white van. Guessing around 2003ish. Think it was Holyoke.

Beautiful bride and quite the groom with the hefty stash and burns...but no mutton chops?

I had heard of and read about Dan's presentations for years and put one on my bucket list.
The closest at the time was in Andover, MN. August 18, 2015. It was Dan's last year of teaching, sponsored by Ferguson.

I drove 900 miles round trip, had 2 nights stay over.

When having a glass of wine with Dan, I mentioned that a wet head cousin of mine pointed out that while studying Dan's books you can open a bottle of wine.......but studying that other guy with all those (necessary BTW) math formulas, he had to make a pot of coffee.

I think I saw them in a old western movie!

Never mind.... That was Maureen O'Hara and the Duke... the mustache confused me!

After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?
