    This must be an old one. Maybe it's a Crane "Sunnyday"? If it doesn't have a nameplate with the Btu rating - then the only thing I can suggest is to keep Googling. Photos might help us.

    Posting some pictures will probably trigger someone's memory.
    You could clock the meter and estimate the efficiency.

    Good point. Do not just match the rating of the old one in place. The old one may be oversized and the building envelope may have been approved.
