I have a public bathhouse which has 5 caravan slantfin boilers connected in series. I've never seen the header that was used to join them or the clamps that connect sections together. one section is leaking and if i cant find the old type i will have to repipe it all in black pipe, The circumference of large pipe is around 12 inches which is larger that 3" blackpipe
but smaller that 4" black
thanks

They are not Victaulic.
Both Slant Fin & Hydrotherm used those on their modular boilers. They are still available as far as I know. We used to get them from the boiler mfgs.
They were made by Eaton now owned by Danfoss
Google: "Hose Warehouse" they have them

For my own education , @EBEBRATT-Ed -- which is half of why I come to the Wall -- how do they differe from the Victualic couplings?Br. Jamie, osb

If there is the will, these is probably a method of operating that heating plant that would be much, much more efficient than that current piping layout. From the looks of things, it looks like all the units are pumped together and then probably fired as needed. That creates a lot of wasted heatTo learn more about this professional, click here to visit their ad in Find A Contractor.0

@Jamie Hall
If you click on @WMno57 's link it shows pictures. The don't groove the pipe like Victaulic they flange it.
Back in the 80s and 90s modular boilers were popular. In my area Hydrotherm was the big name and they just piped a bunch of little boilers in parallel and had a staging control along with outdoor reset to stage the boilers. They worked pretty well on hot water. Slant Finn also had a version. It was the "multiple small boilers versus one large boiler option" There are still a lot of these running
They had a steam set up as well........didn't work so good.
The pipe couplings above came with the boiler and the supply and return headers were premade and supplied by the boiler mfg. for easy assembly. They worked pretty well but could leak over time like anything with a rubber gasket, especially if overheated.
I have seen similar connections used in SS food process piping, breweries and soda plants where they may need to disassemble and clean the piping0 -
Thank you, @EBEBRATT-Ed and @pecmsg !Br. Jamie, osb
