Nothing but quality there!
At least he thought about draining the header.
most would have skipped the equalizer and header and just run the two supplies straight into the boiler0 -

On the plus side:
They used both risers out of the boiler.
They wiped the solder joints.
They secured the 1/2 copper water line which was sure to rattle in the next year or two as the boiler tries to fill itself from the cracked sections.
The hammering shouldn't be too bad right?0 -

It would likely work better without that 2nd tapping getting water trapped in the end after where water is able to drain out of the ....header... thing.
Also, using both tappings with that arrangement, especially with copper is far more likely to try and split the boiler apart from expansion as well as bust solder joints.
It would've been far better with just one tapping in this unfortunate situation.
@JohnNY I assume it's got issues with blowing water into the mains or does it run half way decent?
Also, the good news is the price on copper is up.Single pipe quasi-vapor system. Typical operating pressure 0.14 - 0.43 oz. EcoSteam ES-20 Advanced Control for Residential Steam boilers. Rectorseal Steamaster water treatment0 -
Oh, i thought the equalizer connected at the elbow to the mains, i was going to say it isn't quite right but it might work ok until the copper pulls the boiler sections apart, i had to look closely to see the tee between the risers.0
