Is there a way to determine the steam sq. ft. of a steam boiler if it's not listed on the plate/sticker (by using other numbers listed)?
(I wrote down everything that was listed.)

BTU can be converted. Send a pic of the panel?

The boiler is gone (didn't take pic.) I wrote everything down, though.

It was a natural gas-fired steam boiler.

Is this the same boiler from your other thread that you listed as rated for 321 sq ft?

    p. 78 of Lost Art:

    EDR/4 = Lb/Hr

    BTU/Hr/960 = Lb/Hr

    EDR/4 = BTU/HR/960

    EDR = 4 * (BTU/HR/960) = BTU/HR/240

    90,000/240 = 375 EDR

It's the OLD boiler that I'm trying to figure out sq ft of steam.
(The NEW one is 321 sq. ft. steam.)

If this is a Utica, Columbia or one of the Dunkirk boilers that might have any one of several names, it's 281 to 292 square feet.

With the 90,000 that would be with pick up factor, so the actual rating would have been what Steamhead said @281 sq ft

    90,000=375 EDR
    375/1.33=281

You guys are amazing. Thank you all so much!
@Steamhead You're right! Certified by Dunkirk Radiator Corp. It said installed in 1985, it ran wonderfully, I loved it, and I bet it could have been repaired.

@KC_Jones Thanks for the "adjustment". I was just doing the simple math.
