Water is leaking inside of furnace. I located 2 holes in the tank. Now I'm wondering if those holes are supposed to be there. If now how do I seal those holes to fill the tanks?

If you have water leaking inside the boiler and it's not from an external pipe leak you probably need a new boiler

The holes are not supposed to be there. Perhaps more to the point, there will be more of them with time. Time for a new boiler -- that one has served you long and well. Do your homework, get it sized right, and find a really good steam person to double check and install a new one. Where are you located?

Is that another hotel tray around the burner where the mounting plate rusted out?

I found a really good stream boiler person. They changed the burner cover tray. They are going to tightened the tanks using the coil rod, use push nipples and check if leak still there. The leak is coming from the seams where it separated

Actually yes. But the previous didn't trust out. It was made of combustion chamber bowl material and crumbled when I was changing the bowl. Did not want to leave it open. But replaced with standard cover

No leak inside. From the external tank seams. I thought it was a joke.. No, just tanks separated from pressure from running without water
