How did this make it off the assembly line

How did this ceiling plate make it off the assembly line. I must have 10 or 15 more like it. This manufacturer needs better Quality control procedures!

I've had a few like that. I like it almost as much when they include plates for 1/2' rod in my box for 3/8" rod. Or they forget to thread them0

Made on a Friday
Single pipe 392sqft system with an EG-40 rated for 325sqft and it's silent and balanced at all times.

I had a bunch of these that were flat.
They actually fit nicely inside of unistrut/power strut etc.
I used them rather than channel nuts.
1/3 the cost and easier to slide in position.
Enough threads for good support.
Just to deliver a positive point for them....if flat.0
