I am doing wattage calculations for a home backup generator and have an older (circa 1991) American Standard gas fired furnace, model UD100C948A. Coming up empty looking for information on the wattage, amps, etc. Anyone familiar with this model and how to think about running / peak wattage, or where I could look to figure this out? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It should show the FLA on the data tag.Bob Boan

Starting and running are two different things. Starting amps can be 10 times higher then running. If there’s any computers envolved a clean sine wave is required.0

full load amps on the name plate or easured with a clamp on ammeter x 120 volts will give you the wattage. Probably around 10-12 amos0
