Hi
I have a HYDRA Evolution that shut down and the only way to start it again is by resetting it with the fuse. Does not seem to be a safety issue cause I let it stand closed until it's cold but to restart it have to go and remove the fuse and that will restart it.

Tried when it's working putting a small fan in frond of it but it didn't help.

Does changing the motherboard fix the issue or something else is in the play.

Thank you
tiki

Interrupting the power probably resets the board from a safety lockout. You need to find which safety is tripping and why.

A bit more information might help. You are referring, I presume, to one of the Hydra Evolution electric boilers as manufactured by Dettson? This link: https://www.dettson.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/X40156-H_HYDRA_EN.pdf may take you to the owner's manual, assuming you can identify the model. They are rather short of trouble shooting, but I do note one comment: the ambient temperature in the vicinity of the boiler must be less than 27C.

I note that Dettson does have service technicians in the Montreal and Rive Sud areas. Have you contacted them?

I was able to purchase a Dettson circuit board and an electrician replaced my defective one with this new one. So far the boiler is functioning correctly.
