Kinda reminds me of a HB Smith boiler header but I don't think it is.
I would think that would be a balancing nightmare.
What's that like 1 1/4" into 4"??0 -

Curious on the circulator size. Typically you are trying to mimic the gravity flow. That looks like they were trying to increase the flow quite a bit... That will create imbalance w/ in the system.0

Makes me think of a big house we once did with 2 new boilers. It was hot water gravity with a 6 inch main. It used a 1/6HP 2inch NFI pump IIRC. Probably needed about 20 to 25 gpm through the system.To learn more about this professional, click here to visit their ad in Find A Contractor.0
