steam boiler thermostat recommendation

Options
My Digistat HP 2000 thermostat circuit board has failed and the company is no longer in business.
It had a remote sensor(hardwired shielded cable) located in top floor NW corner apartment of 20 unit all concrete building in Minneapolis. The thermostat is set at a single temperature with no set backs. It had a screen so I could see the apartment temp from the boiler room. It also had the ability to set the differential which was set at 1.5 degrees. The building has been balanced to evenly heat each apt( one pipe steam).
The thermostat was powered by a transformer(also had a battery backup).

I would appreciate some recommendations for a replacement thermostat.

Thank you

Dave

    I'd suggest any of the Honeywell RedLink thermostats;;;

I have used Emerson 16E09-101 universal electronic temp control for school house with 2 zones.

Remote sensor, NTC type, can go 400' with 22 ga or larger wire.
You can do 4 averaging sensors.

    120 or 24...no battery.

    Worked good for the purpose.

Kept its settings with a power failure.

    Short cycle protection.

Some of the Honeywell RedLINK thermostats will accept a wired remote sensor. The 8000 & 9000 series come to mind.

FWIW, I have TH8000 stats in everyone's (Mom & Dad, etc.) home that I'm responsible for.

That Emerson is a lot less money than any HW 8000 series.
Extra probes are only about $16.
    Check SupplyHouse.com for info.

I would use these in the school house I am working on now, except there is no programing for set back for nights or weekends.
Would like the stats in the boiler room away from occupants.
