Cant find WESTCHESTER NEW YORK Steam Pro

Hey everyone, so does anyone here live in or around Westchester New York and if so have you or know somebody who used someone who actually knows a damn thing about steam heat? I searched the "find a contractor" page and it only turns up 2 results, but id like someone who has actually used somebody and can recommend them. Any recommendations would be very much appreciated. I am not having an issue at the moment, but I just want to know a pro in the area for the when I do, and im sure the others in the group who live in the tri state area would appreciate it. I have had several run ins with many a knucklehead in my steam journey since I bought my old home 10 years ago. I Utilized this site to the best of my ability and got my system to a good place, its not perfect but it runs smoothly for now, but I still just dont trust any plumbers to know what they are doing when it comes to my steam boiler. So Again, any recommendations wold be appreciated.

Did your search turn up Gateway Plumbing? 212-980-0909. one of the best...

It did not, it turned up 2 places in the Bronx, that seemed to only do commercial work according to their website. But I will check out Gateway, where are they located?

I do steam and boiler consulting work in Westchester all year long. There seems to be a severe shortage of mechanical talent in that area for some reason.
I own Gateway Plumbing (thanks @Jamie Hall ) which is a shop licensed only for work in NYC. I also own Toro Plumbing & Mechanical in NJ, and 72F Mechanical Consulting, LLC for consulting work anywhere.
When I need to bring in a plumbing tech/mechanic in Westchester, I have a former employee, local to the area who performs the work I outline for you.

@JohnNY thanks! Your right about a shortage of good talent or knowledgeable with steam here in Westchester. I'm located in southern Westchester close to the city, and its almost impossible to find anyone who knows their stuff with steam. Ive had so many knuckleheads in here suggesting all kinds of crazy things, and they all say that water hammer is totally normal, which is a dead giveaway that they have no clue what they are doing. ive been servicing the boiler mainly myself, for the last few years and ive got in in a good place for now, but id like to have it serviced by a pro who knows steam.

I'm happy to help. It's getting to be that time of year when all the calls are heat related.

@JohnNY I suggest you do a grand tour. I am also located in lower Westchester and have flex hours between office and home.

I’ve used Ezzy (E-Travis Mechanical LLC), who is on here a lot. He’s done a lot of great work on our steam system and would highly recommend him. He is based in North Jersey but works in Westchester.
