Every 11 years whether it is needed or not.

After you make that expensive repair and you still have the same problem, What will you check next?

the 10th of October is what? only 7 / 8 months.

I would have wanted to see the face, or maybe not

I would guess 2010, it takes a lot to bend one of those.....looks backwards any way.
If you flipped it over the curve would probably eventually straighten out.

Posting that picture is similar to guys who post dyno videos but never show the results.

No picture of how dirty the actual filter was? I feel like I was ripped off. :D

Chris, LOL, I will never make that foxpaw happen again

I may drive into the dumpster at the shop and see if I can retrieve it

Seems like there might be a glitch, is this going to post twice?

Got a call many years back and I don't rememebr if it was heating or cooling but told the customer that it sounding like all they needed was a new filter. They called back to say they had replaced the filter and it still was not working. I went by and there was in fact a new filter installed that still had the plastic wrap on it. No I did not tell them.

The poor thing. Didn't anyone notice it got sucked in to the duct?

I can't imagine why they didn't notice the smell after a while!

Wow, @Zman is the winner in my opinion. I have seen a lot like the rest of them (would've loved to see the media filter from 2010) but nothing with that much dog fur on it

It was a home with 8 Irish Wolfhounds and an owner that probably had never heard of an air filter.

@Zman Does this filter have a strange lifeform growing on the right side?

Looks like a cross between a bird, a squirrel, and a rat

Wow that is some gnarly looking imagery. The 2010 filter was quite tame in comparison. No build up at all, just a bit dark. Small condo, 60 something-year-old couple.
