Thinking of Gil Carlson, who went to his reward 26 years ago today. He died about a month before I published Pumping Away. I planned on sending him a signed copy with my great thanks, but I missed that deadline (no pun intended).
Today, I thank all those who teach, and all the students, old and young, who are wise enough to pay attention.
Thanks.
