What a treasure he is. The band I played in was called "Sweet Revenge", named for his song. He made it thru throat cancer and even got his singing voice back in recent years. Been playing Prine songs since I heard the news last night. Thank you John for your humor and music.

I first saw John in Steamboat Springs in 1992. He was playing festival with Little Feet, I showed up thinking I was there for Little Feet and ended up becoming a huge Prine fan. I was fortunate enough to see my favorite artist in the best venue on the planet last fall https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfcflLJ9otU

Today is a sad one, this one cheers me up a bit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TxKgj7w3tBU

He actually came here to the end of the road and did a concert for like 300 of us. I remember when his band went on a break, he kept on playing, which we were impressed with. I really did not know anything about him at the time, but was really glad we went.

Saw him to kick off the Mo and Unclejohn retirement tour last Nov. at Punta Cana in the DR great great time. In fact we have tickets for this years do not know what will happen. There is talk of going ahead as planned with I memorial type show. Love the dance at the end of lake Marie.

@Zman Little Feat was one of the best. They were the Rolling Stones favorite band.
