Gold's Mattress Radiators

Dave in QCADave in QCA Member Posts: 1,746
I know this is maybe not the right place. But, I have NEVER seen a Gold's Mattress Radiator in person, let alone EVER hear of them for sale. Posted on Facebook you will find an assortment of them. They look like they're in pretty good shape too.

That's just the main photo of the architectural salvage group. It's a private group so you can't see the sale post unless you are a member.

Even then there were toys for people with way too much money. They weren't for medical use were they? Just creature comfort?
I would opt for the 98.6° breathing blanket. Or 2.

They were the very first steam radiator manufactured. 1850s. They were wall mounted and called mattress radiators only because of their appearance.

Their best feature is the ease of calculating the EDR.
