Help with EDR

So my wife came across this radiator for sale and really likes it. So, I need to see what the EDR is to see if it will work in my daughters room. I'm sure it will be over sized, but I'd like to know how over sized before going down this rabbit hole. If anyone has any idea I would appreciate it. Oh I am working on getting the flat and height dimensions from the seller and can post them once I get them.

Another angle. I am hoping they get back to me with the dimensions so I can figure this out.

I'm betting it's around 25-30sqft.
Single pipe 392sqft system with an EG-40 rated for 325sqft and it's silent and balanced at all times.

The answer is “buy it!” You are so lucky she cares enough to even look at a radiator!
As I’m sure you know, you could insulate the back corner and/or the topNJ Steam Homeowner.

This looks very similar, yet not exactly the same, as the very old vertical pipe style radiator. In those radiators that are roughly 34-38" tall, they are figured at 1 sq ft per pipe. Not, it looks like your vertical elements are paired, and then, the individual piece looks like it may be larger than a 1" pipe.

Does it say "A. A. Griffing Iron Co" on the base? If so, it's a Bundy, and the ratings are here:

Survey says, 30 EDR. Slightly larger than what is in the room now, but it shouldn't be a problem. Just made him an offer see what he says. Sounds like he tore out the steam system, I asked if he had any others and if so I will let everyone know.0

Well looks like I will be picking this up on Sunday the 28th. 3 1/2 hour drive, so it will be a family road trip. Daughter and wife are excited. Pictures are of current room status, so it will be a while before it's installed. lol

It’s mine along with 2 others, one of which is a wall radiator. I paid for the Bundy, but the other 2 were dirt cheap (2 digits for both). He had more Bundy straight ones that he had sold, supposedly one went to Long Island and this was in upstate PA.1

@Steamhead Do you have any idea when they stopped manufacturing these? I am just curious about the age of this piece. I haven't had a chance to give it a close examination yet so not sure if there may be any clues on the radiator itself.
It's a beautiful piece, will look even better once it's cleaned up and repainted. My daughter wants to paint it a gold tone, but the wife is totally against that. I think a bronze or gold tone would look great. We will see which woman wins....kind of puts me in a lose lose situation. lol1 -
Not sure, but they don't seem to show up in buildings built after 1900..................All Steamed Up, Inc.

With regard to the colour choice, @KC_Jones -- the second most useful phrase is "I just work here" (the first is shorter: "yes, dear")Br. Jamie, osb

That's good enough for me, it was looking like 1800's to me, but wanted some verification. I'm pretty sure my house didn't originally have central heat with the steam being added some time later. So in theory, if that's true, this wouldn't be out of place in the house. Not that I am hardcore into restoration.Steamhead said:Not sure, but they don't seem to show up in buildings built after 1900..................
Some day I will take the time to research my deed and figure out how old the house actually is.1
