Air Venting for Pipe Radiators

I got into a nice project in Tribeca, NYC with a 5-story building that was converted from warehouse space to very expensive residential living spaces. The original 2-pipe air vent system remained in place and it consisted of over 200 feet of 1-¼" steel pipe in each apartment terminating with an air vent. No traps.
The residents tried lots of different plumbers who suggested different types of vents and control settings but imbalance and overheating was what they lived with for many years.
After having good experiences with 2-pipe air vent systems and TRVs with oversized vents recently, I gave this a shot and it worked really well.
Instead of the usual little ⅛" (4, 5, 6, ,C, D, 41, etc) vents, I decided to go with ¾" thermostatic valve bodies and main vents on each 100-foot-long pipe radiator. It's working really great. I'm very happy with it and so are my clients.
Some of what was existing. Sorry for the giant pics.

I’ve been having trouble adding pictures as well today.

That’s is neat stuff. I’ve never seen anything like it. By the looks of it I’d assume that needed more than a typical radiator vent!
    Never stop learning.

Two pipe radiator vent with trvs-probably to compensate for an imbalance of EDR in each area.
What sort of main vents were used-maybe top of riser big mouths?
Was it necessary to adjust the thermostat cycle time to make them work?—NBC

Yes. I used Gorton #1 vents. I was tempted to use Big Mouths but I couldn't risk them passing water in these finished spaces. Gorton #2 vents are just too physically large. I went with the venting capacity of the Danfoss ¾" valve bodies and the ¾" threads of the Gorton 1.

It's amazing and awesome that someone decided to leave that system in place! Can't figure out why they have that guest bed in the dining room though!
