Simply polishing wouldn't get rid of the corrosion, caused by leaking solder joints...........

Lost many jobs to other contractors using copper because its "cheaper". Love the look on the homeowners face when I give them an estimate in a few years to repipe becsuse of the leaks. Mostly same two contractors doing the installs. Some people just can't seem to grasp the concept of swing joints and expansion / contraction.
