Saddle Tee

I have a customer who would like to avoid welding Tees into an existing 6" steel pipe.
Has any one ever used a product like this? https://pipemanproducts.com/proddetail.php?prod=JCM-412-Carbon-Steel-Flanged-Tapping-Sleeve-with-Shop-Coat

Other ideas?

My personal experience with saddle tees is limited, but I've seen hundreds and hundreds of these in use in wet pipe sprinkler systems.

What exactly is inside the pipe? The gasketing must be compatible, and it must be allowed by whatever codes are involved.

212F Seems low? most hydronic stuff is 225 +

I have seen the Victraulic saddles on hydronics as ratio shows.

Is there a good source online for something like that in the 1.5" - 3" range? Looks interesting.

All sorts of 920's on eBay, great prices also, look for sellers that offer free shipping and have a lot of sales and reviews.

Amazon shows some also. A lot of Wholesalers have online shopping, I think Ferguson does?

I've never used the flanged type like you posted, but the Victaulic mechanical tees like ratio linked I've installed hundreds of with great results. I can't recall the MFG but I put together an 8" CPVC manifold for a pool heating cascaded boiler system a couple months ago using saddles similar in design to what you posted but with glued branches. Fit very tight and worked great

Thanks, I get a lot of stuff from SupplyHouse and didn't see them on there.
