of the fact that I haven't serviced in since 2007! Even though it is next door at my mother in laws
Opened it today and I am amazed at how well it has aged. LP from multiple sources over the years, concentric vent kit. Piped to a HydroLink hydraulic separator, onboard 15-62 Grundfos.
It is a combi and it cycles a lot with constant and intermittent DHW draws every day.
Many folks have slammed this Giannoni/ Sermeta heat exchanger design over the years. I predict the boilers that were built properly with good drainage and top brand electronics and inducers will last a long time, 20 years plus.
Wondering if the fire tube design will prove to be this robust?

Seems a lot of the fire tube designs are Kiturami, a large Korean HVAC manufacturer.
Thy have had condensing oil fired boilers out for awhile now also.

When properly piped and set up with analyzer the Giannoni setup works great.
The early munchies had some controller issues. They seem very sensitive to poor combustion.
