Crown BWC 090 gas boiler

I have the above boiler that is about 11 years old. It ran fine last heating season untill I shut it down for the summer.
Unable to start the unit now? It tries to start and hangs up at "checking air pressure switch" and shuts down with E28 and b61 error codes. The blower fan is running and elec. connection to pressure switch and MCBA seem ok. Removed the pressure switch and by blowing into the inlet tube the diaphragm seems to be working. Should I replace the pressure switch or is there something else I should look for?

Call a licensed gas certified plumber. Insurance will not cover you with a DIY fix.

Why do you assume that a safety is bad when it does what it's designed to do?

You probably have a blockage in the flue or condensate drain.

Ironman: thanks for the reply. the flue is clean, the condensate drain and pump are good.

The only way to confirm that the pressure switch is functioning properly is with an accurate manometer.
