So, I have this 18 year old apprentice

And he comes in to work Friday and I said 'pop quiz time' and sent him to the white board. I told him to draw a gravity hot water system, and this is what he did. Mind you, I totally blind sided him with this. I don't think my journeymen would have come up with this. I think he is a keeper! I'm totally blown away that an 18 year old did this.

    If he understands how it works, I would tie a rope around him. So he can't get away. It's difficult to find good help, but a young one! Good find.

    Sounds like a keeper. Most can't drive or pass a CORI check. But the can operate a phone which they never put down.
