Frank JFK might be better because Fiorella H LaGuardia Airport has major construction going on PLUS JFK has a Subway connection now that could get you in to Manhattan OR better yet, Matt Jr and I could pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. Several major hotel chains around JFK. Let me know, brother. This is great, Frank, its been a long time. Mad Dog

Of the 3 major NY-area airports, Newark (EWR) is closest to Greenwich Village in terms of travel time by car/taxi. I don't know about the subway but I'd imagine it's a long-ish ride to/from LGA/JFK.

I googled an Acela ticket as I didn't know what it was. We don't have Amtrak here, but if we did it would be a 30 hour commute at 150 mph. 4586.2 miles. It would be a fun ride though.

The near boiler piping over here is an embarrassment and I'm a little self concious about it but I do have an NJT rail monthly pass to help offset that NYC drink pricing
