Leaking Caleffi Discal Dirt Mag Sweat Connections

I have installed a few of these discal dirt mag air separators. The problem I have is every single one of them has leaked from the threaded connection. Its not the sweat connection leaking but the threaded portion of the sweat adapter.
I can't be the only one having this problem. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions.
Thanks,
Ben

Ben,
On the sweat Discal DirtMag units we previously used a fitting to go from straight thread (common in Europe) to sweat. On the threads we used Loctite 272 to seal and lock the fitting in place. On the larger models (mostly the 1.25") we ran into a few cases where excess heat from sweating caused the Loctite to melt and no longer seal the fitting to the body of the separator.
We have since changed this so there are no longer fittings and the sweat connection is now machined out of the cast body.
Please give me a call when you get a chance and we can help you out!
