What wrench to use for this spud?

What wrench do I need to attach this spud? It does not have the nubs that a traditional spud uses. Thanks.

    or a 1/2 " socket extension or a square seat wrench used for faucets with washers and seats.

    or square stock grind until it fits

    Dependant on what size spud it is you may find that the corresponding size black iron plug may work. You put the plug into a coupling and thread it in that way. Just a thought.
