Running 1/2" PEX through a 3/4" PEX chase

I used Watts 3/4" radiant PEX between the 2nd floor and the basement in a 200+ year old house as a chase for 1/2" Wisbro hePEX. Will this be a problem as a result of differential rates of expansion? I did not want the Wisbro PEX to be abraded as it was fed through this chase to and from the header.

IF you can get the tubing through there you will be fine.

I have done short sections like that to avoid abrasion from metal plaster lathe. It worked just fine.
