    The argument is always cradle to grave, and, mostly ROI for the owner. It’s all in, or all out. Seldom a middle road. Forced air guys promote the 80% stuff for reliability, and cost, no different. For them it’s just the unit to switch. The ductwork as is still makes no difference whether its an 80,or 95% efficient furnasty.

    With a mod/con piping, and emitters can become an issue as to the boilers actual efficiency.
