Sam 81 got it right the S8610U will replace this control. Capable is sort of a copy of Honeywell controls along with another company called ICM.

Thaks! Tim so in general if I see Capable or ICM I'm good with the Universal Honeywell?

Yes as far as Intermittent pilot and HSI. The S8610U from Honeywell covers Int Pilot the S8910U covers HSI. Capable also has a comparable version to Honeywell DSI which is replaced by the S87 or S89 for Direct Spark Ignition.

Tim, I'm stick trying to pick away at my notes, so there are no universal S87 or S89? No sense on keeping those on the truck right?

The S87 and S89 for Direct Spark are OEM controls with no Universal replacement from Honeywell for DSI controls.

@GW - Many control manufacturers, if not all, have cross reference tools on their websites. And, at least, have cross reference lists or spreadsheets. Honeywell and White Rodgers/Emerson have for a long time..

Yes thanks I know about the charts, I hardly ever see DSI though. And the Capable Controls isn't listed on the S8610U sheet.

Are the pages on the web sites able to be loaded into a spreadsheet? Thet would be great to build a library, load into Google drive

Gotcha. I've been seeing more and more of those Capable Controls too. The name itself worries me a little. : )

They are basically a knock off same as ICM controls.
