Kick toe heater

Hello all,
How do you guys normally install a kick toe heater to a 3/4" loop system with piping below the floor.
Monflow tees? . I'd hate to reduce the pipe size to 1/2".
Thanks

Typical fashion is to install a set of tees in the 3/4" run of the loop.
You can do this 2 ways.
Simplest way it to in stall 2- 3/4x 1/2x1/2 tees separated by 12" of 1/2" copper. The branches of these run out to the Kickspace heater.
The other way is to use a diverter/ mono flow tee on the return and a simple 3/4 x 1/2 tee on the supply.
It is important to keep the run out to the kickspace heater as short as possible. Don't have 20' of run-out to the heater.0 -
Is it supplemental heat? It could be piped primary/secondary with a small pump & closely spaced tees, either as an independent zone or a second stage. It would require constant flow though, & adding what is basically a micro zone might need some thought about how it'll impact the system as a whole.0

Thanks for the replies. That's what I was going to do, just wondering if any one did it different.0
