Tonight we did updates on the boiler. Everything seemed good until we noticed a leak in the up pipe from the low water cut off. When we removed the small up pipe, it broke due to corrosion. We went to Lowes because the supply store was closed. At lowes we pieces together copper pipe and 3/8 fittings. We bent the pipe into the same shape as the old up pipe. Filled and fired the boiler. As soon as steam comes up, leaks ....
So now we have no heat.

I just bought the replacement part. However, it bends at a 90 ... not the angle we need.0
