I bought your book, read it, and enjoyed every word of it. This site and your books is why my one pipe seam system operates the way it was designed to. But let me digress. I am a registered nurse (critical care/ICU) by profession and in a way deal with hydronics meaning the circulatory system filled with blood and circulated by a pump also known as the heart. You write in your book about painting pictures with words so people can visualize the concept. Well that hit home. If you try to explain what atrial fibrillation is to a person who has it nine times out of 10 they look at you with a blank expression. But if you tell them it is kind of like watching clothes slosh around in a washing machine, because that is what is happening to the blood in the atria, the heart isn't pumping effectively. Well the lights go on and they understand what you are talking about. Then you can explain in detail what is happening. All I can say is the book is great and you did a great job writing it.

I'm half through this wonderful book, Dan, and like Robert O'Brien said many comments ago, I'm trying to slow my reading down so it will last longer. I look forward to adding a comment to Amazon when I'm done. I also look forward to the Broadway musical and film. Your uncle Tony's antics had me falling off my chair.

For those who have sadly finished reading Dan's great "What Hydronics Taught Holohan" and are having a bit of withdrawal, there is hope. I've just started reading his "Working" which presents unbelievably vivid accounts of homeowners and contractors in their eternal duels. And when I'm done with that, I think I'll get to "Dan Holohan's Used Stories," then perhaps search for his original stories book long out of print. By then I'm sure Dan will have his next book out ––maybe(?) on his experiences at the helm of The Wall and his continuing, missionary-esque attempts to engage his wife and total strangers in conversations on the wonders of hydronics.

I don't get to this site much, but when I do, I do some reading. I see you released a new book, to which I ordered. I look forward to reading it and expanding my knowledge base.

    Thank you Dan.

Maybe your next book should be about your trials in the website creation adventure.--NBC

That should be Erin's book. She was the brains behind all of this. My next book is a novel.

Always love a good read to get more insight. Books are like picking the brain of the author in books like these. Unfortunately I lost my wallet yesterday but I'm indexing this page to come back and get my copy!
