What Hydronics Taught Holohan is a memoir of my life in the heating industry. I wrote it as a long love letter to Erin as she prepares to take over this joint. It's story after story about what I've seen, what I've learned about hydronics and the people who love (and sometimes abuse) hydronics, and lots of other fatherly advice about this wonderful business of ours. I gave it to Erin as a gift and you'll find it at Amazon.com.

    25 some years ago I entered this industry and a good part of my way of learning was reading articles most of my favorite and truly educational were written by you, Dan! Then I purchased a few books and then one day I had the pleasure of meeting you at the Split Rock resort during a NAOHSM Convention. There I learned what a smart, funny and humble man you are! Not long after that our friendship grew, more books came along and more knowledge was shared.

    With that said, my order has been placed for this latest book of yours and I look very much forward to reading it, once it arrives.

    I got mine a day early. I read the preface in the car before leaving the post office. Erin I got a chuckle out of it... We just had a our first baby, a girl in July, and I immediately thought about how her and my wife will react if I was to give her an air separator for Christmas and a couple of ball valves in her stocking one of these years. Hahaha. I cannot wait to dive into the rest of it.
