Is it more efficient to place my heat exchanger before the a-coil and blower oron the intake side of my horizontal airhandler or on the outtake side of the air handler after the blower

It should be placed on the supply side. Most blower motors cannot take the heat produced from the hot water coil. They are designed to have 70* return air to cool the motor, not 140*+ air that will come off of the hot water coil.Bob Boan
You can choose to do what you want, but you cannot choose the consequences.2
