Steinway(s)? You are a lucky man. I spent a good part of my youth protecting my mothers 1902 Steinway baby grand from my friends who thought it was a good place to set a beer on. It was hand painted by Arthur E. Blackmore of Tiffany and Co., truly a glorious piece of art. Some of my fondest memories are of listening to my mother play. (sorry, off topic)

Steinways. An 1898 model A, a 1924 model M, and a 1905 "upright grand" (no model designation). They can be a headache -- but a joy to play. I have to admit they don't look that wonderful -- the finish isn't all that good (there were a good many years when this place was closed in the winter, which doesn't help) but they are in concert condition for playing.

There isn't a really good link for photos, but my daughter maintains a blog -- frequently not politically correct -- which often has sundry pictures in it: http://acairfearann.com/
