Honeywell v8944n1053

in Gas Heating
Just been told by my supplier that this gas valve has been replaced with the V8944N1012 does anybody know?

    They are identical

    in just about all ways:



    Both Natural Gas 1' pipe size, 300 CFH to 1000 CFH, 6 second opening time, 24 volts,



    Both have regulator set points .8" W.C. to 2 " W.C.



    The one difference is the V8944N-1053  has a factory setting of 1.2" W.C. the V8944N-1012 factory setting .8" W.C.

    Nah

    No need for a second opinion, he always takes the word of the 19 year old kid behind the counter. And he can adjust a flame by eye :)
