the lovely Judy and I are celebrating 52 years of marriage today. It just gets sweeter as the years go by.

    Longevity of marriage

    When visiting my daughter in the UK, we were in the supermarket, and the elderly man in front, had many pins on. I complemented him on them and he explained that they were for service in the transport of materials up to Russia through the ice in WW 2, and out of several hundred merchant navy men, only 15 were left.

    Then he said " I've been married 60 years..................and we're still speaking"

    That says a lot! Congratulations to you and anyone who can still be " speaking"--NBC
