Prime the pigtail with water, or let it develop on it's own ?

Thanks....

    Prime it...

depending on where it's mounted, it can take anywhere from a few cycles to weeks to fill on its own.

    Prime

    Yes.

Our standard detail includes a tee with an up-turned street elbow and valve for the purpose although a plug and funnel would work as well. Cheap insurance to protect your essential instrumentation, IMHO.
