Flame Sensing
Does the control use the same cable for flame rectification or is there a separate flame rod?Bob Boan
You can choose to do what you want, but you cannot choose the consequences.0 -
ignition cable
two separate spark paks. one for main pilot assembly & one for sensor on opposite side burner. cable runs from spark directly to auxilary sensor. separate cable from other spark pak to pilot burner on other side. thanks. bob0 -
Bob the answer is yes
especially when the sensing is on a separate wire. I have in fact for an overnight used a piece of coat hanger to replace a sensing rod for overnight.
If sensing and spark are single rod (Honeywell is proprietary on that system) before I would leave it I would take some microamp readings to insure 2 to 10 microamps typically 3 to 5 is normal.0
