on the new atmospheric boilers with honeywell gas valves..the regulator adjusting screw used to be a straight slot type screw..now its something that a straight slotted screwdriver fights with..it looks like a star-ish shape..what is it? is it torx?

    Is this a Honeywell

VK 8115 valve? if so it is a European Honeywell valve. Depending on whose boiler it is located it is not to be touched. There will typically be a throttling screw on the valve/draft inducer set up. With make, model and whose boiler I can give some further information.
