Battery backup

We have an inordinate number of blackouts in our area, so I'd like to install a battery backup for our gas boiler for our single-pipe steam system. The required capacity should be fairly low, since power is required just for control purposes. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Convert it to
a Powerpile Self Generating system and it will run without power.0 -
You could
use a deep cycle battery and an inverter. But I can't recommend that because it probably violates code, and takes human intervention.0
