Does any body know what E-14 trouble code means. The manual says it is a internal control failure. I don't have a trouble shooting manual on hand to tell me witch control it is.

The "E" codes for Internal Error
are sort of general catch all codes. The Service Technicians Troubleshooting Guide states E-14 Internal Error - Reset the boiler control module and retry ignition sequence and boiler operation. If problem continues, replace the control module.
It is my experience that these internal errors can be caused by power surges, lighting storms, brown outs, and other electrical events even someone turning the power switch on and off rapidly. Try it several times if it does not go into error code again you can probably feel safe leaving it. If it keeps going into error code change the module.0
