Note: Gas code changes as of july/07 requires use of Certified pvc materials & cements/primers for gas fired equipment (B.C. for sure), I think most provinces also. Better check with AHJ (local gas branch inspector)

    Pipe cement for concentric vent

    Installation instruction for Concentric vent (in Canada)
    .. construct all combustion air and vent pipes for this unit of CSA or ULC certified Schedule 40PVC, PVC-DWV, or ABS-DWV pipe and pipe cement.... I am looking for advice
    regarding concentric vent cement. Thank you in advance.

    PVC glue and primer

    it even comes in different colors these days.

    Generally the pipe supplier will also have the correct glue and primer for the materials they sell.

    Concentric Vent

    We use concentric vent for Trinity boiler and the concentric vent termination (NTI part number 82666) come from NTI, without gasket.
