My house has water heat with a gas fired boiler and cast iron radiators. I am remodelling the bathroom and am wondering if I can remove the radiator and replace it with in-floor radiant heat that would still be connected with the rest of the existing heating system in the house. I'm guessing it would be OK as long as I maintain the loop, with the water flowing through the in-floor pipes, then returning back and along to the next rad on the line. Any information/confirmation would be greatly appreciated.

Roth Mini Shunt
You can't use the water from the radiator directly, it is too hot. This product acts like a mini injection system with constant circulation. Relatively inexpensive and can be piped to your existing hot water system.
Hope this helps you.

someone has given you Bum Scoop...
that is not a coherent strategy.
You would be better off planning to go with a simple mix off boiler with an I series R 1/2" Taco zone valve with its own pinner circ...wait a couple months and the Wilo pinner circs are supposedly to be available.
Glenns idea is good too, it at least has some rational to the control issue...my buddy installed 4 or 5 of a similar item , in an antiquity renovation last year...0 -
