Had MM Flow Control On A Pool Heat Exchanger That Would Not Make Except When I Moved Paddle manually.
The Pool Filter Was Running And I Was Getting Plenty Of Water Flow At Heat Exchanger. How Much Pressure Do You Need To Operate The Control? Is A Flow Control needed On This Application? Thanks.

    If it's more than

    five years old, it might have failed. As I remember, I had one with a perforated diaphragm.

    As far as whether you need one or not, some installers like to prove adequate flow before they turn on the boiler.
