Looks like stainless. Regardless, they are a very good tank. Have had no problems with them as of yet.

Roth Oil Tanks
I am going to replace my 275 oil tank in my basement. Any opinions on the Roth double wall oil tanks? Cost versus steel tank?0 -
Roth
We have installed many Roth tanks. They cost more than the standard steel tanks, but have a leak proof design and are stainless steel with a poly lining. What we have installed do not have a bottom drain, so you have to draw from the top. They do have a smaller foot print than standard, but are taller. They probably will last a lifetime, so the extra cost is worth it. So far, we have had no problems.0 -
Galvanized
not stainless, right?0 -
Roth tanks
Have three in my house and chose Roth after installing some of the other 2 makes available. Like the set up and ease of piping, especially the duplex and triplex piping manifolds. And they are galvanized, not stainless.

galvanized
The tanks are galvanized not stainless. We have installed about 10 and have had no problems. I also have one in my own home. They are about 30% more than the Granby steel tank but well worth it IMHO

Just a note
Make sure to use only Roth parts for the install. You definitely have to use the Roth vent alarm or risk overfilling and a spill.
Also make sure to go with a one pipe set up only. The directions say 2 pipe, but a call to Roth says one pipe. Appaently a 2 pipe set up can lead to a spill. It happened to us.0
