in THE MAIN WALL
Hello. I'm wondering how I can move an old cast iron radiator while my boiler is active....The radiators (two) are in an area of our kitchen that I'm remodeling. It's cold out and I don't want to shut the boiler down if I don't have to. If I need to shut it down I guess I can :(

I'm thinking if I shut off the closest zone valves to the radiators they can be cut out and moved while I put the new floor down. Will the air in the system when I reconnect the radiators cause problems in the boiler? Is this something I should call a plumber for?

    if you were doing it in the summer you might want to tackle it yourself but in the winter when it is cold if something goes wrong & usually does ,your family will be the ones to suffer.
