Radiators

Hello. I'm wondering how I can move an old cast iron radiator while my boiler is active....The radiators (two) are in an area of our kitchen that I'm remodeling. It's cold out and I don't want to shut the boiler down if I don't have to. If I need to shut it down I guess I can :(
I'm thinking if I shut off the closest zone valves to the radiators they can be cut out and moved while I put the new floor down. Will the air in the system when I reconnect the radiators cause problems in the boiler? Is this something I should call a plumber for?
Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

fielder's choice
if you were doing it in the summer you might want to tackle it yourself but in the winter when it is cold if something goes wrong & usually does ,your family will be the ones to suffer.0
