combustion air, make sure you have make up air. If the house goes negative while the burner/power vent is cycling then on the off cycle cold air will enter the house through the power venter. This could cause condensation too.

Ive been seeing lots of power vented oil FHA furnaces vented with the Fields SWG-3 power venters .
Alot of them have serious condensation issues in the flue pipe, judging by the white powderlike build-up at the pipe joints.
Any solutions?
Thanks Tom

Post purge
Make sure you have enough post purge timing. Make sure you are only pulling .03 - .04 draft in the breech. Make sure the burner is not underfired by too much.0 -
Thanks Bill, the house I was at tonight does have a comb. air problem. The dead giveaway was when the cellar door slammed shut after the blower ran for about 10 seconds.
I left the cellar window open for the night. Told cust. we had to do some changes to duct system.
I have to back tomm. to check a couple other things, I'll check out the post purge. What would say is a good PP cycle time? 3-5 min.0 -
Fan in a can
I have been using Fields fan in a can lately with good success. 3-5 is good. I see a lot of them set to shut off ASAP. Guess they don't wanna waste heat.0
