Pipe Insulation question
My old one pipe steam system is uninsulated. Must have been asbestos once and then removed. Do I only insulate the risers and the main feeds?
Should I also insulate the wet returns and the Hartford loop and any pipes below the water line?
Thank you.0 -
at the very least
insulate up to the main vents...that is the most important. You do not want the steam condensing before it has had a chance to get to the rads.0
